The Sétat Security Directorate categorically denied the validity of the comments accompanying a video posted on social media pages yesterday, Wednesday, March 11, which claimed that a girl was subjected to an attempted lure and kidnapping by a woman in the city of Berrechid.
To enlighten public opinion and refute these incorrect claims, the Sétat Security Directorate confirmed that the Judicial Police Brigade in the Regional Security Department in the city of Berrechid opened a judicial investigation into this case, after it became clear that the national security services had not received any complaint, tip, or phone report via "Line 19" regarding these events. The investigations and inquiries carried out in this case have enabled the identification of all the people appearing in this video, as well as the identification of the minor girl who proceeded to publish it on a social media platform, where they were all subjected to a judicial investigation, which confirmed that the events documented by the video do not have any criminal nature, and that the woman concerned is a resident of the city and has been suffering from a mental illness for more than 15 years. The minor girl who carried out the publication was kept under supervision, while the two women who started filming and editing were subjected to custody, at the disposal of the judicial investigation supervised by the Public Prosecution, to reveal all the circumstances and backgrounds of this case. While the Sétat Security Directorate is keen to refute the validity of the data contained in this video, it confirms in return its serious and positive interaction with everything that would affect the sense of security among citizens.
