The Israeli army announced that the Israeli air force, based on precise intelligence information, launched a raid on the Iranian nuclear complex "Telcan" in Tehran.
The army explained in its statement that the complex was used in recent years to develop advanced explosive materials and conduct sensitive experiments within the framework of the "Amad" project, which was the secret program that existed in the first decade of the third millennium to develop nuclear weapons. The statement indicated that this strike comes within the framework of the "Rising Lion" operation, which systematically targets knowledge centers and infrastructure associated with the Iranian nuclear program, with the aim of neutralizing the existential threat it poses to Israel. He added that "the Iranian regime continued, despite the significant damage to its program, its efforts to develop the capabilities necessary to make a nuclear weapon, stressing that Tehran recently began attempts to rehabilitate the complex that was previously targeted in October 2024."
