The installation of tsunami warning signs in the streets of El Jadida has triggered a state of terror and panic among the city’s residents.
Over the past two days, city residents have been surprised by the installation of “tsunami evacuation route” signs in neighborhoods near the beaches.
Residents were surprised by the timing of the banners that appeared overnight on the city’s streets, calling on the authorities to open the door to dialogue and communication to reassure citizens and put an end to the information and errors that are circulating.
It is worth noting that the streets of El Jadida are the first coastal city in Morocco to install such signs during this time of year.
