HIBAPRESS – Agencies
Two people were killed in a drone crash in northern Oman, according to the Oman News Agency, at a time when Iran continues to carry out strikes on countries in the region in response to the American-Israeli attack on its territories.
The agency quoted a security source as saying that two drones crashed "in the Wilayat of Sohar, one of them in the industrial area of Al-Awhi, resulting in the death of two expatriates and some injuries, and the other in an open area without any injuries." On Wednesday, the Sultanate of Oman announced that a drone had hit fuel tanks at the port of Salalah in the Dhofar governorate in the south of the country, while the air defenses shot down several other drones, without recording any casualties. Earlier, the agency reported that a drone had been shot down and another had crashed in the sea north of the Wilayat of Duqm, about 550 kilometers from the capital Muscat, without recording any human or material losses.
