The public prosecutor at the Court of First Instance in Berrechid decided today, Friday, to extend the period of custodial detention for those detained in the case of filming and publishing the fabricated "Heavenly" video, in order to deepen the investigation being carried out by the judicial police.
This morning, Friday, March 13th, the detainees were presented to the Public Prosecution to consider the accusations against them, after they were arrested two days ago by elements of the judicial police, against the backdrop of publishing a video clip that sparked widespread controversy on social media. The video's filmmakers had claimed that a woman was practicing what is called "Heavenly" in the city of Berrechid, which created a state of panic among the residents, especially as it coincided with a wave of fears related to cases of child abduction, which increased the citizens' concern and prompted the authorities to open an investigation into the incident.
