The city of Kenitra has recently witnessed a noticeable dynamic in urban planning and infrastructure development, through the launch of a number of projects aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing the aesthetics of public spaces, most notably the project to rehabilitate the exhibition roundabout and create a new bypass road.
This project comes within the framework of a works program supervised by the local development company in Kenitra, where the rehabilitation includes the surroundings of Al Hamriya Stadium and the areas adjacent to the Kenitra clinic, with the aim of creating a new road axis that would alleviate pressure on the main streets and improve the smoothness of movement within the city.
The bypass road is expected to contribute to organizing traffic and facilitating the movement of vehicles, especially during peak hours, by providing alternative routes that reduce traffic congestion in some vital axes of the city.
The project also includes the rehabilitation of the surrounding spaces, by improving green spaces and redesigning the garden opposite the clinic, making it a more organized and attractive urban space for the city's residents.
Local observers believe that this development dynamic that Kenitra is witnessing falls within a series of projects that have been launched recently, and whose pace has accelerated since the appointment of Abdelhamid Al-Maziid as governor of the Kenitra region, where the regional authorities are keen to enhance efficiency in managing development projects and keeping pace with the urban transformations that the city is witnessing.
These projects reflect a trend towards modernizing the urban structure of Kenitra and improving the quality of services provided to citizens, in line with the requirements of urban growth and enhancing the city's attractiveness at the level of living and investment.
