HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyaoui
Within the framework of ongoing preparations for the blessed Eid al-Fitr for the year 1447 AH, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, through the Regional Delegation for Islamic Affairs in Fez, announced the organizational measures adopted for the Eid prayer, in coordination with the local scientific council of Fez.
According to official data, it was decided to unify the time of the Eid prayer at seven-thirty in the morning (07:30), with the adoption of a group of prayer grounds distributed throughout the various neighborhoods of the city, in a step aimed at facilitating the access of citizens and ensuring a smooth organization of this religious occasion. The spaces allocated for prayer include a number of squares and open stadiums, including the "Fan Zone" prayer ground near Marjane, Meknes road, and the Sa'deen prayer ground at the Sa'deen Stadium, in addition to the Adarisa neighborhood prayer ground adjacent to the Al-Baraka mosque, and the Zohour neighborhood prayer ground. The list also includes other geographically distributed prayer grounds, such as the Bab Al-Futouh (domes) prayer ground, and the Douar Ariefa prayer ground, in addition to the Ben Debbab prayer ground, the Bensouda prayer ground, and the Al-Nassim neighborhood prayer ground, ensuring wide coverage for various residential gatherings. These arrangements extended to include the neighboring areas, where prayer grounds were allocated in both Sidi Harazem and Oulad Tayeb, within the framework of bringing this ritual closer to citizens in various urban and semi-urban areas. The organizing authorities called on the general public to adhere to the adopted guidelines, and to go to the nearest prayer ground, while ensuring early attendance, contributing to the success of the Eid prayer atmosphere, which constitutes a religious and spiritual occasion with special symbolism for Moroccans.
