The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Thursday, that the weather will remain relatively cold in the Atlas Mountains and the Rif, with snowfall over the peaks of the High Atlas.
It is also expected that rain or locally thundery showers will fall over the Chaouia, Doukkala, Abda, Chiahma, Rehamna, Souss, the High Atlas and the southeast of the country, in addition to scattered rainfall in the Tangier, Loukkos, Rif, Gharb, Middle Atlas and west of the southern provinces. Strong winds will be recorded in the Atlas, center, southern provinces, southeast, south of the eastern region, Tangier region and the Mediterranean coast, where they will be accompanied by local dust scattering. The minimum temperatures will range between minus 02 and 06 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 04 and 10 degrees in the high plateaus, Rif and the eastern foothills of the Atlas, and between 10 and 16 degrees in the rest of the regions. The temperatures during the day will witness a decrease on the Atlantic coasts, Souss and the Mediterranean coast, while they will rise in the rest of the Kingdom. The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean coast and the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough to very rough, and locally strong to very rough between the coast and Tan-Tan.
