HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
The Shararda district in the city of Oulad Teima, Taroudant province, was shaken in the early hours of this Monday, March 23rd, by a serious crime that ended in a human tragedy, after a young man breathed his last, affected by a treacherous stab wound.
According to available data, the incident began inside the home of a retired soldier, where an alcoholic session was taking place, which quickly turned into a violent altercation as a result of a state of agitation and loss of control, which prompted the homeowner to expel those present. In a tragic development, the victim, who was born in 1986, was subjected to an assault with a white weapon by the main suspect, who was born in 2000, while he was leaving the place towards his home, after he happened to be near the scene of the accident in a nearby garage. Initial data suggests that the incident was not entirely accidental, as local testimonies indicate the existence of previous disputes between the two parties, which resurfaced at that moment, turning into a bloody assault. Despite being quickly transferred to the local hospital in Oulad Teima, the victim passed away upon arrival, affected by the seriousness of the injury, which hastened the adaptation of the case within the felony of premeditated murder. Immediately after being notified, security elements moved to the scene, where an urgent investigation was opened, which enabled, in a short time, the identification of the main suspect and his companions, before they were all arrested. Four people, including the main perpetrator, were placed under custody, pending the judicial investigation that is being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to reveal all the circumstances of the case and determine legal responsibilities. This crime caused great shock and resentment among the residents of the neighborhood, amid calls to address such dangerous behaviors associated with violence and alcohol consumption, which may turn into bloody tragedies in moments.
