US President Donald Trump announced that Iran is negotiating with the United States and begging to reach an agreement.
Trump said during an investment forum in Miami, Florida on Friday, "Iran is negotiating with us and begging us to reach an agreement." To that end, Trump stressed that the United States will end the Iranian threat that has lasted for years, adding: "We have the best army in the world and we will end the Iranian threat." He went on to say that "Iran can no longer threaten the region." He also continued that the United States "crushed Iran and the situation is going well," stressing: "We continue to target specific sites in Iran." As for the new Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, he said that he was "either killed or in poor health." Trump also confirmed that America will never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon. He added: "If I hadn't withdrawn from the nuclear agreement (of 2015), Iran would have possessed a nuclear weapon." The former US President, Barack Obama, was also accused by Trump of being a "major cause of the crisis with Iran." He added that "Obama contributed to Iran getting huge amounts of money." On the other hand, Trump announced that he was "very disappointed" with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), pointing out that the alliance "did not come to help the United States" in the war on Iran. He also added that "NATO did not come to help us and we will remember that."
