The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Monday, that the weather in general will be relatively cold in the Atlas Mountains, their eastern slopes, the Rif, and the Eastern High Plateaus, during the morning and night.
During the morning, the formation of fog is expected over the Souss region and the northwest of the southern provinces, with rainfall and the possibility of thunderstorms over the extreme south of the Kingdom. Other weak and scattered rains will also fall in the eastern region and east of the Mediterranean coast.
It is expected that the weather will be partly cloudy, accompanied by weak and scattered rainfall over the Atlas and southeastern regions, as well as snowfall over some areas of the Middle Atlas and the east of the country, with somewhat strong to strong wind gusts over Tangier, the Sais, the northern and central coasts, the east of the country, the southeast, as well as the north of the desert provinces of the Kingdom.
Sandstorms will also be observed over some areas of the southern and southeastern provinces of the country.
The minimum temperatures will range between minus 07 and 00 degrees in the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, and between minus 03 and 05 degrees in the Rif, the High Plateaus and the eastern slopes of the Atlas, and between 14 and 20 degrees in the southern provinces, the extreme southeast and inside the Souss region, while they will range between 09 and 14 degrees on the northern and central Atlantic coasts and on the Mediterranean coasts, and between 05 and 09 degrees in the rest of the regions.
As for the temperatures during the day, they will be rising in the southern provinces, the Souss region and near the central coasts, while they will be decreasing in the rest of the Kingdom.
The sea will be rough to very rough on the Mediterranean coast, and between Mehdia and Tarfaya, calm to slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly rough to rough north of Mehdia, and rough on the rest of the coasts.
