The judicial center elements of the Regional Command of the Royal Gendarmerie in Safi, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, managed to arrest one of the most dangerous drug dealers nationally, within the framework of a precise security operation that aimed to put an end to the activities of a criminal network active in drug trafficking.
This operation came after investigations and surveillance that lasted about five months, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect nicknamed "Wild Al-Khudir" in the Jemaat Al-Marasla area in the early hours of the morning. The detainee is the subject of more than 43 search warrants nationwide, for suspicion of involvement in cases related to drug trafficking and the formation of a dangerous criminal gang. The search operation carried out by the competent authorities resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of prohibited substances, including about 400 units of alcoholic beverages, 20 kilograms of kif drug, in addition to 5 kilograms of "Taba" substance, and one kilogram of hashish, as well as more than 20 liters of "Ma al-Hayat" liquor. A large "Samurai" sword and sums of money suspected of being proceeds from this criminal activity were also seized. The suspect has been placed under custody by order of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, pending further investigation to uncover the other potential perpetrators in this criminal network.
