HIBAPRESS – I. Asmalali
After exhausting the prison sentence issued against him, Algerian content creator Raouf Belkacemi broke the digital silence, announcing his return to social media platforms via a post carrying reconciliation messages with himself and the public.
In brief words, Belkacemi expressed his desire to turn the page on the past, saying: "I am back again, as if I never left," in a clear reference to his determination to resume his digital activity and overcome the repercussions of the stage that kept him away from the spotlight for months. This return falls within an attempt to rebuild his image with his followers, and to emphasize that the period of forced absence did not affect his desire to continue, preferring to look to the future instead of delving into the details of his legal crisis. In his first post after release, Belkacemi evoked a spiritual dimension, citing the saying: "Allah does not burden a soul except [with that within] its capacity," followed by the phrase "Praise be to Allah," in an expression of his acceptance of the sentence issued against him last January, which sentenced him to three months in prison on the grounds of the "sports stadium" incident during the African Cup of Nations finals. With this appearance, Belkacemi seeks to present himself in a more mature image, emphasizing that he has overcome his legal ordeal.
