HIBAPRESS – Rabat
In a public session at the Moroccan House of Representatives headquarters, dedicated to the opening of the second legislative session of the 2025-2026 legislative year, Rachid Talibi Alami affirmed the legislative institution's pride in the stances expressed by a number of countries regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue, considering that these stances reflect increasing support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives explained that the diplomatic dynamics of the national issue have been strengthened in recent years, thanks to the strategic orientations of the Kingdom under the leadership of the King, pointing out that the successive international recognitions of the Moroccan Sahara constitute an important political gain, and confirm the validity of the Moroccan proposal for autonomy as a realistic and credible solution. These statements fall within the framework of the opening of the second legislative session, which constitutes an important constitutional stage for continuing legislative work and monitoring government action, in a national and international context characterized by rapid developments, especially with regard to the first national issue for Moroccans.
