As part of the ongoing efforts of the security services to combat the trafficking of drugs of all kinds, elements of the judicial police belonging to the police commissioner in Beni Bouayach managed, yesterday evening, to arrest a person caught red-handed possessing and promoting a quantity of strong drugs.
According to the available data, the suspect was arrested after a meticulous surveillance operation, which resulted in his arrest in the act, and in his possession, a quantity of drugs prepared for promotion. The person concerned was placed under custody, by order of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to deepen the investigation and uncover all the potential extensions of this criminal activity, before being brought before justice to have its say on what is attributed to him. This operation falls within the context of intensive security efforts aimed at combating the phenomenon of drug trafficking, and enhancing the sense of security among citizens.
