HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Elbaz
The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in the city of Murcia witnessed an exceptional weekend, on the occasion of organizing "Open Days" on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12, as part of an initiative aimed at bringing consular services closer to members of the Moroccan community residing in the region.
This process witnessed a large turnout from citizens, where approximately two thousand good conduct certificates were delivered in two days, under organizational conditions characterized by smooth flow and good management, which contributed to accelerating the pace of processing requests and reducing pressure on regular consular appointments. A number of beneficiaries confirmed that this initiative enabled them to obtain the necessary documents in a short time, especially for people who face difficulties in booking appointments or adhering to travel during working days. They also praised the efforts made by the consular staff to ensure the smooth running of the process despite the large number of beneficiaries. For its part, the consulate explained that the organization of these days falls within a new approach that relies on proximity to citizens and improving the quality of services, with the possibility of repeating such operations in the future according to the needs of the community. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Moroccan consular services in Spain to improve the level of services provided, and to strengthen the bridges of trust and communication with members of the Moroccan community.
