The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, affirmed that the government's working methodology is based on "responsible listening" as a fixed option in managing public affairs, instead of any approach based on "administrative arrogance", which reflects an institutional direction that consolidates a participatory approach in public decision-making and enhances the effectiveness of public policies.
Akhannouch, today, Wednesday, during a joint session in the two houses of Parliament regarding the government's achievements, addressed the deputies and advisors, with sincere thanks for their mobilization, commitment, and constant engagement in serving the supreme interests of the Kingdom, stressing that the legislative and organizational momentum achieved was not accidental, but rather the result of a real political will translated through the ratification of more than 847 legal and regulatory texts since the beginning of the term. He pointed out that this legislative momentum, which led to the implementation of more than 110 laws and 609 implementing decrees, does not represent a mere quantitative accumulation of texts, but rather reflects a comprehensive reformulation of the national legal arsenal, the effects of which have affected various aspects of citizens' lives. Akhannouch also indicated that this path was accompanied by a clear political boldness in opening up to the parliamentary legislative initiative, where the participatory dimension was activated with the various components of the representatives of the nation, by holding intensive meetings to study a total of 437 law proposals, which enabled an increase of 146 proposals compared to the previous term. He stressed that this approach stems from a firm conviction that the quality of public policies is linked to the quality of the legal framework that frames them, noting that this approach consolidates a balanced model based on the integration of powers and their functional balance, and reflects the maturity of the governmental and parliamentary experience. The Head of Government mentioned in his presentation to the two houses of Parliament that this legislative and organizational dynamics was reinforced by a clear vision based on developing institutional performance and improving the making of public decisions, in a way that serves the interests of citizens and keeps pace with their aspirations.
