The local branch of the Progress and Socialism Party in the city of TahaIa held its ordinary general assembly today, Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the presence of the party's regional secretary, Ridwan Zarioul, accompanied by a number of members of the regional office, including Ali Bouzerda, Ahmad As-Sanhaji, and Faisal Al-Yaacoubi, in addition to the significant presence of the branch's male and female activists.
This organizational meeting was a station for evaluating the party's performance at the local level, where a responsible discussion took place, addressing developments on the political scene nationally and locally, in addition to issues of local affairs management and the development constraints facing the region. Ways to enhance organizational dynamism and strengthen the party's field presence during the next phase were also addressed. In conclusion of the general assembly's work, the attendees approved the formation of the branch committee, which includes 23 members, before the latter conducted the process of electing the management office. The results resulted in the unanimous election of Abdullah Boularbah as branch secretary, alongside a group of local competencies in the office, where tasks were distributed as follows: Faiza Khaddam Allah: Deputy Branch Secretary, Fawzi Al-Aliani: Rapporteur, Idris Maqran: Deputy Rapporteur, Adel Al-Mukhair: Treasurer, Abdul Nabi Al-Karmasi: Deputy Treasurer, Ahmed Najjab: Advisor in charge of tasks. The general assembly concluded in a positive organizational atmosphere, marked by a commitment to the spirit of responsibility and teamwork, with an emphasis on continuing to strengthen the party's presence and active involvement in the issues of the residents, in a way that serves local development and meets the aspirations of the citizens of TahaIa.
