HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher.
Early Sunday morning, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle a significant quantity of hashish across the sea at the Bou Fadael beach in the Massat community of the Chtouka Ait Baha region.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 50 bundles of drugs, each weighing 50 kilograms, which were prepared for smuggling. "Phantom" boats and engines used to transport goods across the coasts were also seized. The incident mobilized various security and intelligence agencies in the region, where an investigation was opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecution to uncover the criminal network that operates in this international trade across the coasts of the Kingdom.
