The family of the deceased young man in Tangier, Anouar, stated in statements about the circumstances of the incident that the deceased suffered from recurring seizures leading to loss of consciousness, noting that he had previously experienced two similar cases, while the third seizure occurred at the time of the incident.
According to the family members' account to HIBAPRESS, the victim felt a sudden dizziness and the proximity of a new seizure while communicating with his fiancée (it is likely that he suffers from epilepsy), before he fainted and fell to the ground, which led to a head injury and bleeding. The same sources added that the dog that was with him, and after watching the blood, attacked him and bit him on the face and neck, causing serious injuries that led to his death. The family suggested that only one dog was behind the attack, without confirming the participation of the other dogs, noting that this attack was the direct cause of death, although the dog itself was considered a loyal companion to the victim.
