Khadija Al-Mardi meets her opponent in the quarter-finals of the Paris Olympics

On Wednesday, Moroccan champion Khadija Al-Mardi was able to qualify for the quarter-finals in the 75 kg boxing category at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The three rounds saw a strong and fierce fight between the two boxers, before Khadija Al-Mardi decided in his favor with a score of 3 to 2.

Three of the referees of the fight awarded the victory to Khadija Al-Mardi, while two referees, including an Algerian, awarded the victory to the British boxer, so that the Moroccan champion ultimately emerged victorious.

In the next round, Moroccan champion Khadija El Mardi will face Australian boxer Caitlin Parker, who beat Mexican Vanessa Ortiz by unanimous decision (5-0), Sunday, August 4 at 10:48 a.m. Moroccan time.
