The Sidi Boujida neighborhood, affiliated with the Janan El Ward district in the city of Fes, was shaken last Wednesday night, October 14th, by a tragic incident. A man in his fifties was found dead inside his home in the Hanan Bouala district, under circumstances that shocked his family and neighbors.
According to available information, the deceased's son, born in 1979, discovered his father's body hanging by a rope inside the house. The father had been out of sight for the entire day, prompting his son to check on him before discovering the incident.
Upon being notified of the incident, the specialized services immediately went to the scene, where the necessary procedures were taken. The body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue at Al-Ghassani Regional Hospital for a medical autopsy in accordance with established procedures.
While awaiting the results of the investigation, initial information circulating among the deceased's relatives suggests that, according to their statements, he had been suffering from psychological disturbances in the recent period of his life.
An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor's Office to determine the circumstances and details of the death, and to take the necessary legal actions based on the results of the research and medical procedures.
