The Head of Government, Fatima Zahra Mansouri, announced the launch of a tourism roadmap for the period 2027-2030, aiming to receive 26 million tourists by 2030, in addition to supporting cooperatives, the social and solidarity economy, and the sports economy.
Mansouri affirmed, during the presentation of the government program before Parliament, that the government is betting on achieving an average economic growth of 5 percent annually between 2027 and 2031, while maintaining inflation within 2 percent, and strengthening investment in infrastructure, industry, and national production.
In the field of investment, the government aims to raise the contribution of the private sector to two-thirds of national investment, by facilitating financing, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and accelerating investment projects, in addition to restructuring public institutions and enterprises and promoting manufacturing and exports.
The government also intends to limit the budget deficit to around 3 percent of GDP, and reduce public debt to about 62 percent by 2031. Mansouri affirmed the government's openness to dialogue with the majority, the opposition, economic and social partners, civil society, and the media.
