HIBAPRESS – I. ASAMLALI
Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan was injured on Thursday during the filming of a scene for his new series, "Ashmawy," while performing a fight scene with a tiger, as announced on his official Instagram account. Ramadan clarified that the injury was minor, indicating that he would take a two-day break from filming before returning to complete his scenes, without revealing the nature of the injury or providing further details.
Ramadan posted a photo from behind the scenes of the filming, showing the tiger, and stated that the injury occurred during the scene's execution, reassuring his followers that the work stoppage would not exceed two days, as announced. This came hours after he promoted the series through a video clip from the preparation phase, in preparation for its airing during the Ramadan 2027 drama season.
The series "Ashmawy" represents a new milestone in Mohamed Ramadan's television career, as he prepares to return to Ramadan drama competition after his absence since the series "Gaafar El Omda" in 2023, which achieved remarkable public attendance. The audience anticipates the new work, waiting to see what Ramadan will present through it. No updates have yet been clarified regarding the impact of the injury on the filming schedule, and the artist is expected to resume his work according to the announced schedule, unless there are changes to the production plan.
