Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that his country "has begun a process to achieve historic peace between Israel and Lebanon, and it is clear to us that the Lebanese "Hezbollah" seeks to spoil it."
He continued in a speech via the "X" platform: "We maintain complete freedom to act against any threat, including emerging threats. We struck yesterday and we struck today, we are determined to restore security to the residents of the north." In another part of his speech, Netanyahu said: "I promised you that we would change the face of the Middle East – and this is exactly what we are doing, first and foremost in Iran: I had an excellent conversation with the American President, Donald Trump, he is exerting strong economic and military pressure on Iran, and we are working in full cooperation."
