Prosecutors in Austria, who are investigating the extortion case against the German baby food company "Hipp," revealed that one of the contaminated packages contained 15 micrograms of rat poison.
According to the police, five baby food packages containing rat poison were found, distributed between Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. A spokesperson for the Eisenstadt Public Prosecutor's Office said today, Friday, that a special toxicology examination will be conducted in the coming days to determine how this amount affects infants or young children. The spokesperson confirmed that this quantity only indicates what was seized within Austria and does not reflect anything about the contents of the poisoned "Hipp" company packages found in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Public Prosecutor's Office did not disclose the type of rat poison that was discovered.
