The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted, on Friday, two sites belonging to the land border centers north of the State of Kuwait, using two explosive drones launched from Iraqi territory, as officially announced.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency, that this attack constitutes a clear violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and is a direct threat to its security and stability, considering that such operations affect the security of the region and increase the state of tension. The ministry also stressed the full solidarity of the UAE with the sisterly State of Kuwait, affirming its support for all measures taken to protect its security and maintain its stability, within the framework of the fraternal relations that unite the two countries. This position comes in a sensitive regional context that is witnessing an increase in security threats related to the use of drones, which raises renewed concerns about targeting border facilities and the need to strengthen protection and defense systems.
