National voter Tariq Al-Saktiwi revealed the condition of player Sufyan Rahimi and his position regarding his participation against the Iraqi national team, tomorrow Tuesday, in the third round of the group stage of the men’s football competitions of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Al-Saktiwi said in a statement regarding Rahimi’s condition: “Rahimi was injured against Ukraine, and yet he continued the match until his last moments, which forced us to change him in the last minutes.”
He added: “Now there is a big effort, and we have given him 24 hours of rest so that he can be ready for tomorrow’s match, and I am confident in his preparation for tomorrow’s match.”
