The Spanish newspaper La Razón revealed exciting data talking about Algeria's involvement in facilitating the arrival of Iranian weapons to the Polisario Front, in the context of the attack that targeted the city of Smara.
The newspaper highlighted, based on field reports and analysis by military experts, that the type of weapons used indicates advanced "Arash-4" missiles, with a range of about 40 kilometers, which reflects – according to it – the existence of prior logistical and training support. It considered that the transfer of these weapons could not take place without regional facilities, hinting at possible crossing paths through Algeria, starting from Iran. The newspaper added that this data reflects a worrying shift in the nature of regional tension associated with the conflict, warning that any military escalation of this type could have dangerous repercussions on the security and stability of the region. Several countries around the world strongly condemned the attack carried out by the Polisario Front and targeting the city of Smara, considering that this escalation poses a direct threat to the security of civilians and the stability of the region. In this context, influential capitals renewed their strong support for the autonomy initiative proposed by Morocco, describing it as a serious, realistic and credible solution to settle the fabricated conflict in the Moroccan Sahara, stressing that the political approach remains the only way to achieve lasting peace and enhance regional security.
