Hassania Agadir protested the refereeing performance that accompanied its match against the Royal Army, as part of the twentieth round of the professional league "INWI," expressing its dissatisfaction with a number of decisions that it considered to have a direct impact on the result of the match.
Hassania Agadir issued an official statement, in which it confirmed the sending of a letter to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, with a copy to the National Professional League and the National Refereeing Directorate, protesting what it described as "influential refereeing errors" that the match witnessed. The statement pointed to a number of incidents that sparked widespread controversy, including the awarding of a foul against player Cabral Euclides in the 37th minute, accompanied by a yellow card, which was the incident that preceded the scoring of the second goal for the military team, according to what was stated in the protest. The club also considered that some other decisions during the course of the match were characterized by harshness and repetition against its players, which affected the course of the match and its competitive atmosphere, as it expressed. In the same context, Hassania Agadir protested a penalty kick that was awarded in the final minutes of the match, confirming that it was incorrect and contributed to settling the result in favor of the Royal Army. The Souss team confirmed at the end of its statement its confidence in the national football institutions, calling for a thorough investigation regarding the refereeing performance in the match, while emphasizing the need to ensure equal opportunities between all clubs. The club also stressed that it reserves all its legal rights, while at the same time adhering to the values of sportsmanship and fair competition within the professional league.
