The old city of Tetouan witnessed a state of security and health alert, following the discovery of the body of a person inside his home in circumstances described as mysterious, which necessitated the intervention of various specialized services to transfer the body and take the necessary measures.
According to the available data, the deceased was working during his lifetime as an employee of the municipality, before he was found dead inside his home, pending what the investigations will reveal about the causes and circumstances of death.
The body was transferred amid precise precautionary and professional procedures, given that the person concerned, during his lifetime, suffered from tuberculosis, where a special health protocol was adopted to avoid any potential risks.
Upon notification, the local authorities, security services, and civil protection personnel moved to the scene, while an investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution to determine the circumstances of death and all the circumstances related to the incident.
