On Tuesday evening, May 12th, a traffic accident occurred in a neighborhood in Tetouan, sparking widespread outrage among residents after a minor driving a luxury car caused material damage to a number of parked cars on the public street, before fleeing the scene.
According to information gathered by the newspaper from eyewitnesses, the minor, who is believed to be no older than 15 years old, was driving the car at an excessive speed that was not suitable for the narrow alleys of the neighborhood, before losing control of the steering wheel and crashing violently into two parked cars, causing significant material losses, without any human injuries being recorded.
In response, the security services in Tetouan have launched an investigation into the accident, with the aim of determining all the circumstances related to the incident and uncovering legal responsibilities, especially regarding enabling a minor to drive a luxury car despite not having the legal age or a driver's license.
