The curtain fell today, Thursday, on the activities of the fourth edition of the North Cycling Tour, in an enthusiastic sporting atmosphere that reflected the success of this event, which saw wide participation from a number of national and international clubs and teams, including teams from Italy, Saudi Arabia and Spain, amid strong competition between the participants throughout the various stages of the race.
The elements of the Moroccan national team were able to exert their control over the course of the competitions, after they succeeded in taking the first three places in the general ranking of the tour, confirming their superiority thanks to the distinguished performance and the high physical and technical readiness they demonstrated during the various stages of the race.
This edition witnessed strong competition, especially across the mountain trails and coastal roads that characterized the tour's route, where the nature of the terrain imposed additional challenges on the racers, before the Moroccan cyclists succeeded in winning the lead.
This sporting achievement left positive echoes among the followers and the public, who praised the organizational level of the session, and the continuous development that cycling sport is witnessing in Morocco, especially at the level of the northern regions.
This sporting event was also an opportunity to highlight the natural and tourist qualifications of the northern cities, within the framework of strengthening the position of sporting events as a lever for tourism promotion and local development.
