Here in the city of Settat, it is shameful that social media sites occasionally show us disgusting scenes and videos documenting acts of vandalism, burning and destruction of waste containers, theft of road signs, and other acts of vandalism of public facilities such as park benches, office doors of administrations, and damage to park and recreation area lights…
Today's images of containers in the public street being targeted by fire question everyone, and embody an aspect of the vandalism problem that has become a dilemma, perhaps the responsible authorities have failed to stop it despite the efforts made on more than one level, which requires intensifying awareness campaigns and reminding of the contents of the strict laws that impose this, in addition to building bridges of communication between all stakeholders, between various institutions, especially educational, security, family, and religious institutions to plant the seeds of religious, moral, and national conscience in souls.
It is unfortunate that the hands of vandalism affect public facilities and equipment that were originally created to serve the people and the country, starting with breaking glass, writing graffiti, vandalizing lights, and uprooting trees, as if a person carries within him a deep hatred that he almost expresses whenever he gets the chance to do so.
So, how long will the conscience of those who do not value the roles of public property wake up?, and who do not master anything but the language of destruction and breaking as an address… Alas.
