Police elements in the regional security zone of Khemisset, in coordination with the services of the General Directorate for the Supervision of National Territory, managed to arrest three individuals suspected of involvement in a case related to the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances on Friday, May 15th.
The suspects were arrested in the city of Khemisset while in the act of possessing and trafficking drugs. The search and seizure operation resulted in the discovery of 2947 narcotic medical tablets in their possession. The suspects have been subjected to a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, in order to uncover all the circumstances and details of this case, as well as to identify the remaining potential extensions of this criminal activity. This case falls within the context of the intensive and continuous security operations carried out by the services of the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate for the Supervision of National Territory, with the aim of combating the trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances.
