The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Ahmed Bouarri, stated in the House of Representatives that a turnover of approximately 27 million dirhams was recorded during the eighteenth session of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco, an increase of 20 percent compared to the previous session.
The Minister explained that this session, which was organized under the royal patronage from April 20 to 28, attracted about 1 million and 136 thousand visitors, with the participation of 1590 exhibitors, including 360 foreign exhibitors representing 76 countries, in addition to 538 cooperatives. He added that this edition witnessed the organization of 50 scientific and technical seminars, and the signing of 32 agreements in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence, agricultural research, and the financing of sustainable projects, noting that the ministry continues to implement measures to enhance food security and sovereignty and develop the agricultural sector.
