Following a monitoring and surveillance operation, and based on accurate intelligence information, a joint team from the gendarmerie services of the Regional Command of the Royal Gendarmerie of El Jadida, composed of elements from the Ashtouka territorial center, supported by a rapid intervention unit, managed to arrest a known drug dealer today, Monday, at about six o'clock in the evening. This was within the framework of a drug trafficking case that investigations were ongoing regarding.
The arrest of the drug dealer named Mustafa, 34 years old, took place from inside his house located in the village of Al-Kawahi, in the territory of the Ali Benhamdouch commune, north of Azemmour city, in the El Jadida province. From there, the Regional Gendarmerie of El Jadida has put an end to the flight of this drug trafficker, after it lasted a long time, and a search was underway against him under more than 44 national search warrants.
This qualitative operation falls within the framework of the efforts exerted by the Regional Gendarmerie of El Jadida, in the areas of its territorial jurisdiction, which includes the provinces of El Jadida and Sidi Bennour, in order to arrest those wanted, especially drug dealers, and to dry up their sources and confront them within their strongholds.
