Arsenal was crowned champion of the English Premier League for the first time in 22 years on Tuesday, after its chaser, Manchester City, stumbled against Bournemouth in the thirty-seventh round of the competition.
The title was decided after Arsenal won on Monday against Burnley with a goal without a response, raising its score to 82 points, ahead of Manchester City, which was stuck at 78 points, by a difference that cannot be compensated for, before the last round of the season. Manchester City failed to achieve victory against Bournemouth, after appearing at a modest level, where it received a goal in the first half scored by Illy Junior Krupi, while the equalizing goal scored by Erling Haaland came in the injury time late, giving Arsenal a title that had been absent from its vaults since the 2003-2004 season.
