Coinciding with the celebrations of the Moroccan people on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day, which this year coincides with the 25th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the throne of his blessed ancestors, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Milan, northern Italy, organized a reception at the Melia Hotel on this happy occasion.
The guests were received by Mohammed Al-Akhal, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Milan. This joyful ceremony took place in the presence of many civil and military figures, officials, the mayor of the city, as well as some members of the municipal consular corps accredited to Milan, in addition to many local councilors.
The reception ceremony also took place in the presence of many members of the Moroccan community residing in the region and leaders of civil society associations. This happy occasion represented an opportunity for the Moroccan community residing in the Lombardy region to renew the link with their motherland and to confirm their strong attachment to the glorious Alawite throne and to the components of the authentic Moroccan identity by recalling the national occasions that are dear to them. It was also an opportunity for a meeting between all the components of the Moroccan community residing in the region in an atmosphere dominated by a high national spirit and a sense of pride in the great progress that Morocco has witnessed under the bright leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
After listening to the Moroccan and Italian national anthems, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Milan, Mohamed Al-Akhal, delivered a speech on this occasion, at the beginning of which he thanked all the participants for responding to the consulate’s invitation to participate in commemorating this dear memory, reviewing in the same context the most important major achievements that the Kingdom of Morocco has experienced during the years of the reign of King Mohammed VI in many strategic areas, thanks to which Morocco has been able to occupy a distinguished position at the global level. regional and international levels.
The diplomatic official also reviewed the series of major reforms that Morocco has undertaken to promote development, progress and prosperity. The Moroccan consul also did not fail to praise the strength of the friendly relations and the distinguished partnership that unite Morocco and Italy. King Mohammed VI has always been keen to strengthen himself for the benefit of both countries.
A video was also broadcast highlighting the major transformations that Morocco is undergoing under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which have made Morocco a distinguished regional hub that carries its weight at all levels. This ceremony ended with the presentation of different dishes highlighting the richness and antiquity of Moroccan cuisine, to the rhythm of Moroccan and Andalusian music.
