The local authorities, led by Ait Youssef Ou Ali, under the supervision of the commander, and in coordination with the auxiliary forces and elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, were able, on Tuesday, May 25th, to intervene in the Ait M'Hand Ou Yahya area, belonging to the municipality and leadership of Ait Youssef Ou Ali, in order to apprehend a person suffering from psychological and mental disorders, after he posed a threat to the residents and road users.
According to the available data, the person in question, named Tahraoui, from the same area, is known for his aggressive behavior and dangerous actions towards neighbors and passersby, as he had previously assaulted a number of people using a white weapon, in addition to deliberately smashing the glass of some cars. The intervention resulted in controlling the person in question and directing him to the psychiatric hospital in Al Hoceima, in order to subject him to the necessary medical care, for the tenth time, in light of the repeated cases of violence associated with his health condition.
