HIBAPRESS – Ouarzazate
A young man died and another was slightly injured on Saturday evening, May 30th, following a serious traffic accident on National Road 9, which connects Ouarzazate and Marrakech, near the Agerm N'Oukdal area.
According to initial data, the accident resulted from the overturning of a large motorcycle carrying two young men, which resulted in their injuries of varying severity. The two victims were quickly transported to Sidi Hsaine Ben Nasser Regional Hospital in Ouarzazate by an ambulance belonging to the Civil Protection. Local sources indicated that one of the injured died from his injuries before arriving at the hospital, while the second injured person was described as having a mild condition, where he is receiving the necessary treatment at the same health institution. Upon being notified of the accident, Civil Protection elements moved to the scene, where they provided first aid and secured the transportation of the injured, while elements of the Royal Gendarmerie began a field investigation to determine the circumstances and details of the accident, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution.
