The case of the young man slapped by Egyptian artist Amr Diab is back in the spotlight, as an Egyptian court examines the request filed by the young man slapped by Saad Osama.
Lawyers for plaintiff Saad Osama have demanded £1 billion from artist Amr Diab as temporary compensation, accusing him of “harassment, harassment and disturbing public order”, according to local media.
More than 50 lawyers from Luxor governorate in southern Egypt have filed a civil lawsuit against Amr Diab, demanding that he be fined 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($21 million).
