HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
With the approach of summer and rising temperatures, the beaches of Mohammedia city have begun to receive increasing numbers of visitors, but the absence of public restrooms in a number of beach spaces has brought to the forefront demands for improving infrastructure and basic services for vacationers.
A number of visitors to the beaches of Sablettes and Manissemman expressed their dissatisfaction with the continuation of this situation, considering that the absence of public health facilities is one of the most prominent shortcomings from which these beaches suffer, especially during peak periods that see the influx of large numbers of visitors from inside and outside the city.
A number of citizens confirmed that providing public restrooms is one of the simplest services that should be available on classified beaches, calling on the concerned authorities to intervene before the actual start of the summer season to remedy this deficit and improve reception conditions.
The city's visitors hope that the beaches will witness, during the next season, the strengthening of infrastructure and accompanying services, in a way that keeps pace with the tourist status enjoyed by Mohammedia and ensures the comfort of vacationers and visitors alike.
