Oussama Al-Azouzi announces his absence from the Egyptian team at the Olympics
Moroccan Oussama Al-Azouzi announced his absence from the match of the Moroccan national team against its Egyptian counterpart, today Thursday, as part of the classification match of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Al-Azouzi confirmed in a message on his Instagram account that he was absent from the match due to the injury he suffered in the last match against Spain.
Al-Azouzi explained in his message: “Due to a knee injury that I suffered in the match against Spain last Monday, I will not be able to participate today. I have done everything I could in the last matches for our team and our country. I have full confidence that my teammates will do their best today to win.
He added: “We seek to show that we belong to the best in the world. This match is intended for all Moroccans in the world to thank them for their unconditional support, we are strong together. Let us face this moment with pride and determination.
It is worth noting that the match between the Moroccan national team and its Egyptian counterpart will take place today, Thursday, starting at 4 p.m. in the French city of Nantes.
