HIBAPRESS
Immediately after the historic crowning of the Moroccan national team under 20 years old with the World Cup title, following their victory over the Argentinian team in the final match, both Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, and Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, returned to their homeland.
The two officials participated in the coronation ceremony hosted in the Chilean capital, where they were keen to support and assist the "Atlas Cubs" closely, in a moment described as "symbolic and exceptional" for Moroccan football.
The world champions are expected to be received as heroes in the coming days, amidst widespread public celebrations of this achievement, which is the first of its kind in the history of Moroccan football.
