Travel revenues reached 49.01 billion DH at the end of last June, up 2.3% over one year. Travel expenses peaked at 14.28 billion (+13.8% year-on-year). Transfers from Moroccans around the world reached 65.72 billion DH, up slightly by 8% over one year.
Concerning Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in Morocco, revenues increased by 8.6% to 18.58 billion DH while expenditures fell by 21.2% to 7.96 billion, representing a net FDI flow of 10.62 billion, up 51.6% over one year.
Similarly, Moroccan Direct Investments Abroad (IDME), finally, revenues increased by 12.9% to 8.75 billion DH, while expenditures fell by 35.6% to 8.91 billion. Thus, the net flow of IDME stands at 161 million DH, down 97.4% over one year.
