A video posted by a Moroccan TikToker has sparked widespread controversy on social media platforms, as he appeared inside his car displaying a traffic violation worth 300 dirhams and expressing his anger at it being issued against him.
However, the controversy did not stop at the fine amount or the circumstances of the violation's issuance. It escalated further due to the phrases he directed at the security officers, including calling them "thieves," in addition to accusations leveled against a policewoman with phrases such as "poison and hatred." These statements provoked the displeasure of followers who considered that owning a social media page does not grant its owner immunity nor place them above the law.
In this regard, a number of respondents wondered: Have some digital pages become a means of granting their owners a sense of immunity, as if the number of followers or wide reach allows them to bypass institutions and legal rules?
Followers demanded that the relevant authorities investigate the person concerned and bring him before the judiciary to make an example of anyone who dares to insult security personnel.
