After working last year at random to make food “ice creams” consumed by citizens, especially children, and after the authorities closed his factory, the owner of the secret factory resumed his work during the current summer, which prompted the Royal Gendarmerie to raid his factory again, on the instructions of the prosecution, two days ago. It is located at the Aït Lahmad roundabout, located in the Ouidane village community, in the eastern suburbs of Marrakech.
The operation, which was supervised by the Deputy Regional Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie in Bab Doukkala, and in which members of the Environmental Gendarmerie and members of the Territorial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Ouled Hasson participated, made it possible to seize a significant quantity of ice awaiting destruction, and seize the machines and equipment used in the production and manufacture of ice cream.
The same data indicates that the owner of the aforementioned factory, who did not have legal licenses, was carrying out the same activity randomly last year in a secret factory in the Harbil community before the authorities intervened to close it. However, he transferred his activity to the Al-Weidan community and resumed production without legal support.
