HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The Constitutional Union party, on Monday evening in Casablanca, unveiled its electoral program for the legislative elections of 2026, placing four major commitments at the core of its vision for the upcoming phase. These commitments concern the economy, job opportunities, purchasing power, social justice, and territorial justice, alongside strengthening trust in institutions and enhancing Morocco's influence.
The presentation of the "Horse" party's program was attended by the party's Secretary-General, Mohammed Joudar, and several party leaders and candidates for the elections scheduled for September 23rd.
The party attaches particular importance to the economic aspect, by pushing for a more competitive production model and linking incentives and investments to job creation, while developing continuous training, professional retraining, and encouraging self-employment and entrepreneurship.
The program also includes measures aimed at facilitating young people's access to their first job, enhancing women's economic participation, and improving labor market mediation mechanisms. Furthermore, it seeks to protect purchasing power by monitoring prices, combating monopolies and speculation, and reducing the cost of intermediation between producers and consumers.
The Constitutional Union also proposes digitizing public procurement and expanding the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises in it, gradually integrating the informal sector, supporting the green and blue economy, diversifying tourism offerings and handicrafts, and maintaining the state's financial balances.
In the social sphere, the program prioritizes the reform of education and health, with a focus on restoring the value of public education, developing vocational training, linking universities to the labor market, supporting scientific research and innovation, and integrating digitization and artificial intelligence into the higher education system.
The party also proposes in the same program to improve university living conditions and enhance the quality of services provided to students.
Regarding health, the party calls for increasing the sector's funding, ensuring effective access to health coverage, and reducing treatment costs. This includes developing a national map for the employment of health professionals, improving the distribution of human resources, adopting the family doctor and primary healthcare as a fundamental entry point to the healthcare system, and strengthening prevention programs and early detection of chronic diseases and cancer.
At the territorial and institutional level, the Constitutional Union is banking on activating advanced regionalization and building regional economic poles capable of creating development and job opportunities, while giving greater attention to rural areas and vulnerable regions and reducing disparities between regions.
In the fourth pillar, the party proposes working to restore trust in institutions, increase the effectiveness of public administration and services, improve service quality, and strengthen governance, in parallel with reinforcing Morocco's presence and influence.
Thus, the party presents its electoral program as a vision based on four main themes: a productive economy, a state of social equity and protection, a Morocco of regions and territorial justice, and a Morocco of trust and influence.
