The National Office of Airports continues to implement development projects for Tétouan Sania Ramel Airport, by launching a new tender with an estimated value of approximately 77.7 million dirhams, concerning the construction of a new aircraft parking apron and infrastructure development works for the airport.
The planned works include earthworks, water and sewage networks, construction and concrete works, as well as equipment related to the new aircraft parking apron.
The Office has set October 1, 2026, as the deadline for submitting bids and opening envelopes, with a scheduled site visit for interested companies on September 16th.
This project comes as part of ongoing efforts to expand the airport, including the creation of two new aircraft parking stands in 2025, coinciding with a new air terminal project that is expected to increase the airport's annual capacity to about one million passengers.
These investments will enhance Sania Ramel Airport's ability to keep pace with the development of air transport traffic and support the region's tourism and economic activity.
